Welcome to our first devlog for the month of August! As this is our first one, we’ll introduce the project we are working on and announce some news related to it.
What the project is about
Spring Poems is a denpa drama Visual Novel following Hikawa Satoshi, an artist lost in a world full of decadency and vanity of the modern digital age. Not only that, nations are more radicalised than ever. Such is the world where Satoshi encounters a mysterious poet who turns his life upside down. Murders and conspiracy follow, all tied to an art contest and our main character’s past.

One thing we’d like to announce officially are the routes and heroines: there will be two of them. But don’t worry, it’s not few in the slightest. Each route will be long and portray distinct stories. The first one’s heroine is a cheerful artist and fashion designer, Hoshida Tomomi. Although always wearing a smile, who knows what lies beneath the surface? Next comes Kiyomi Sayaka, a graceful pianist with her own share of mystery. When you complete both routes, the true ending will be unlocked, which is like a route of its own that will tie all the themes of the other storylines together.
Development Progress
As of the moment I’m writing this, the script is at 50313 words and that’s only the beginning - the final product might end up being even 4 times that. For now, we are still on the common route with about 50% of the script for it written.
Our assets are coming along nicely as well, some of which we publish on our X/Twitter and as exclusive content for supporting us on the Discord. If we add them all together along with variations, we get 34 total visual assets. With this devlog, the development kicks off for real, so follow our socials and join the Discord server to stay up to date with all the new content that we’ll be sharing with you.
